Western Law Fund

Transform the student experience by expanding experiential learning opportunities. Your gift strengthens advocacy competitions, summer internships, research positions and vital other learning opportunities including the Summer After 1L Program (SA1L). SA1L enables all incoming students to participate in 10 weeks of meaningful, paid legal experience after first year.


Western Law Student Support Bursary

Reduce the financial barriers to pursuing a law degree and support the diversity of the legal profession. Your gift helps talented students cover their education and living expenses so they can focus on their studies and participate in experiential learning opportunities. Violet King Award

Violet King became Canada’s first Black female lawyer in 1954. Created in consultation with the Black Law Students' Association, the Violet King Award is given annually to a full-time, first-year Black student with financial need.
