The Mustangs brought home four medals at the U SPORTS Wrestling Championship, including gold for Ella Doornaert and Treye Trotman and bronze for Gavin Eldridge and Jonelle Clarke.
A trio of wrestlers defended their titles at the 2024 OUA Wrestling Championship.
The men’s team finished with a bronze at the OUA Championship and seventh at U SPORTS, while the women finished sixth.
Ella Doornaert won the G. Howard Ferguson Award and Treye Trotman was named Western’s Male Athlete of the Year.
Won seven medals (five gold) at the Junior/Senior Canadian Nationals.
