New gifts for Ivey campaign

Richard Ivey School of Business recently received the following gifts:

  • $2.5 million for Ivey’s Campaign for Leadership, from campaign co-chair and Advisory Board member Pierre L. Morrissette, CEO and founder of Pelmorex Media Inc. In November 2006, Pierre committed $2.5 million to fund the work of Ivey’s Institute of Entrepreneurship, which was named in his honour.
  • John Francis

  • $1.3 million from Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life, and Power Financial Corporation. Of this donation, $300,000 supports Ivey’s new building and $1 million will be directed to Ivey’s highest priority needs. In recognition of the gift, one of Ivey’s case classrooms in their new building will carry the Great-West Life, London Life & Canada Life name and a student lounge will have the London Life name.
  • $1.125 million from John Francis, HBA ’86, and Susan Caskey, BA (Huron) ’87, dedicated to the new building and the permanent establishment of the John A. Francis HBA Scholarship.
  • Larry Rosen

  • $1 million from David Cornhill, MBA ’80, in support of the new building and the Ivey Family Challenge Fund.
  • $1 million from Larry Rosen, LLB/MBA ’82, in support of the new building.
