Commemorative Giving

Pay tribute to a loved one’s life and achievements

Commemorative giving is a meaningful way to celebrate the life and accomplishments of your loved ones.

You can:

  • honour someone who has passed away
  • mark a major milestone such as graduation, retirement or an anniversary
  • express gratitude to an exceptional professor, coach or mentor

When you choose to give, you are fueling transformative research and learning.

You can honour someone at any time by making a tribute gift to an existing fund.

To recognize someone when making an online donation, check “Yes” when asked “Is this gift in honour or memory?” You will be prompted to provide the individual’s name, with an option to send a message to the honouree or their family.
