Top grade for Western in Globe's 'Report'
Western students continue to give Western an ‘A’ grade on overall student satisfaction and quality of education, in the latest Globe and Mail Report.

For the seventh year in a row, Western can boast to providing the best student experience among Canada’s largest research-intensive universities, based on the results of the Globe and Mail’s Canadian University Report released in October.

The survey conducted in association with the Strategic Counsel and the Educational Policy Institute reflects the opinions of more than 43,000 students from 55 Canadian universities.

Western received the only ‘A’ grade for overall student satisfaction and for quality of education, among its 16 peer universities (more than 22,000 students).

Additionally, Western ranked first in its class in the following categories: Most satisfied students; Quality of education; Quality of teaching; Course availability/variety; Buildings and facilities; Student residences; Campus atmosphere; and Extracurricular activities.

The report shows a number of areas where Western should improve and the University has committed to doing so. It can be read online at: using the Campus Navigator Tool.
