Western University Be Extraordinary The Campaign For Western

Campus-Wide Projects

From enhancing the McIntosh Gallery to supporting students with disabilities, we have a number of campus-wide initiatives that will enrich The Western Experience for our students.

Key Initiatives:

Centre of Research on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

Enhance our position as a national leader in higher education by advancing research on teaching and learning. Funds will enable the appointment of a Director, provide faculty research support, and help produce an online journal.

McIntosh Gallery

Ensure that the McIntosh Gallery has the resources — physical, financial, and programmatic — to set the standard among Canada's university art galleries. Funds will support elements such as acquisitions, conservation, building upgrades and lectureships.

Western Heads East

Support this multidisciplinary initiative that attempts to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. Through Western Heads East, students and professors apply pioneering research to real problems for direct humanitarian benefit.

Western's Service Learning Program

Provide students with opportunities to develop as global citizens by engaging in enriching educational experiences.
